I've been reading up on BW conversion techniques recently. Any thing you've found that works better than others?
There's something to be said for setting your camera to B&W beforehand. It's been recommended to me in order to produce better contrast. Plus it's nice to get an immediate B&W review on the camera'a LCD.
However, I've been playing with Alien Skin's new "Exposure" plugin for Photoshop. It's how I transformed this photo to B&W. the plugin is powerful, but rather slow to process between changes.
