Osaka Castle

I flew in from Japan last night, having spent the previous six days between Osaka, Koyasan, and Kyoto. I wanted to visit Nara and Himeji, both in the area, but I was too tired. Between all the walking and humidity I just felt like relaxing the last couple of days at the J-Hopper's Hostel in Kyoto with the rest of the international travellers. Staying up all night watching soccer games wasn't helping much either.

As expected, I've got a lot of photos to put up here and will begin tomorrow.

Hi, I have booked to stay at J Hoppers in Kyoto and was wondering if you recommend it? Would it be safe to bring a laptop? I have booked a twin room that has a lock I have been told.

I very much like your photos and I think I will try to convince my son to spend more time in the country then in the high tech cities like he is planning :-)

Thanks
Gavin
