Heian Shrine is well-known for it's garden. But it's $6 to see. If you've done the walk through Higashiyama you may well feel tired of paying admissions by the time you end up here. Having little time left to view the garden, and the fact that in July there aren't any cherry blossoms, I passed it up. I've got photos of other gardens from Kyoto.
