The Baller Monks of Kyoto?

| | Comments (4) | TrackBacks (0)

I've taken a bit of a hiatus from the website, not for any particular reason. I've got the time since I regard August in Seoul as "indoor month". As in, there's 110% humidity and it's 33 degrees celcius outside. That's right, 110%. Only in Korea.

Since I haven't shot much that's new, I'll just continue with the Japan photos.

First up is an oddity next to Kiyomizudera (posted below). A traditional house on temple grounds with two pious-looking luxury cars parked out front. Guess this must be home to some baller monks, the kind you'd find on MTV Cribs... that is, if monks were on MTV Cribs, or even the kind of people you could describe as "ballers" for that matter.

I had no idea what a baller was. The definition (with picture!) you linked to filled me in.

Are those new Benzes? I don't remember seeing any styled quite like that.

Lexus on the left, Benz on the right. Normal styles, though I think that Benz may be a little old? Not sure.

Anyway, you really should click on the "MTV Cribs" link above because it takes you to a video of Dave Chappelle mocking the show in one of his season three lost episodes. Very funny.

Benzo is oldo.
Lexi is new. Like 15 mins new.

That link was funny as hell.
