It's Spring; Time for Snow!

This week it was declared that this winter had been the warmest on record (albeit the records go back little more than a hundred years) and that Spring had started.

But a cold snap also hit this week, starting with SNOW on Monday. All of it melted since the temperature had been above freezing for some days. But Tuesday was really cold, more than -5C, Wednesday continued with the cold and brought with it a few centimenters of snow in the afternoon blanketing the city in white. In March. Many have told me that winters in Seoul have really changed over the past couple of decades, with decreasing snowfall and less ice forming on the Han River.

Both photos above were taken on Wednesday afternoon at the same tree. Funny to say, but now it's Thursday and snowing again. It's not sticking though as it's too warm today.
