Seoul Motor Show 2007

The 6th annual Seoul Motor Show 2007 will be open to the public April 6th through the 15th at KINTEX in Ilsan. Not limited to merely Domestic makes, the show also hosts many of the import brands you might see on the streets in Korea.

Spokespeople from several auto manufacturers announced that the 2007 show would have fewer sexy models than the previous year's show in Busan.

Despite the reduction in models, there are more than enough in attendence. However, the change to less sexy attire is a noticible theme running throughout the show. I can't help but wonder if this is a byproduct of Korea's rampant Christianization.

If you're in Seoul and you decide to attend the show, I highly recommend taking one of the regional red-color buses. From the front of Yonsei University there are several that will take you there, such as the #1000 that makes few stops and gets there in less than an hour. From Gangnam Station you can board the #9700. More bus information can be found at the show's website (linked above).

GM Daewoo showed off the G2X again. It's already being sold in Europe by GM Opel in America it's known as the Saturn Sky. I recently read that they'll be assembling these in America and importing about 500 models this year. Hopefully the price stays low, as I'd like one.

You might be noticing that compared to my shots from the 2006 Seoul Auto Salon this time I've actually taken photos that include automobiles.

Perhaps if the US-Korea FTA is approved by both governments we might see more than just the occasional Cadillac in Seoul.

damn dude. that first model is smokin. I can't wait to see the rest. I'd go to the show, but I dropped my new camera a day after buying it. I got it fixed, but I still have no lens.

Once again, great photos, Max!
Say, you remember what happened the last time you posted up a batch of car show hotties and I tried to outdo you?

Maybe I'll try it again.

Looking forward to more! Were you able to get any photos of the GM Daewoo Tosca Diesel or Lacetti Diesels?

Any Daewoo stuff would be much appreciated.
